/ Whatsapp adds document sending feature in new update

Whatsapp has recently added a document sharing feature in their latest update to the whatsapp Android app. This new feature allows users to share documents, PDF’s specifically.

However, support for other types of document is expected as this new feature is present in the beta version of the app. For those who do not know, a Beta version of an app is a test/ experimental version, in which new features are tested for performance, user experience and ultimately user acceptance. For what it is worth, I think that this new feature will have no problem being accepted because it’s been demanded for quite some time now.

The latest beta version can be gotten by from Playstore, simply visit playstore on your device, search for the app, Whatsapp chat app should pop up, click on it, you will see an option to download that’s if you do not have the app before now, if you do have the app,all you need to do is to update. On the other hand, you can as well get the update via your whatsapp Android app, go to the app settings, go to update and click on update.

Meanwhile, some minor changes have been made in this new update, such as; sending of emojis, which has been increased to a 100 emoji limit. In addition, Google drive has been synced with Whatsapp. This means you can easily backup your chats, save documents that are important to you.
